Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child, and one community at a time.

Kiwanis and its family of clubs – more than 445,000 members strong – annually raise more than $390 million and dedicate more than 7.7 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children.  Members of every age attend regular meetings, experience fellowship, raise funds for various causes and participate in service projects that help their communities.

Since its founding in 1915, it has pursued its mission of providing financial aid to children in need. Its dream is to see a world where no child suffers from hunger, inadequate medical care, abuse, neglect or a lack of clothing and other basic needs.  Kiwanis has been making a difference in the lives of millions of children throughout the world since 1915.

Division 44 of the Cal-Nev-Ha District is comprised of 14 Kiwanis Clubs located in the Greater Sacramento Area.  Each Club in the Division performs many community service projects focused on making our communities a better place for all – building brighter futures and inspiring tomorrow’s leaders.
